  Re: Bluetooth and windows 2000

I am using a Compaq (HP) nc8000 laptop which has a built-in BT device and it works fine with Windows 2000, so BT should be OK on W2K (with the right device).   Mech Repair Facility

Greetings all, I finally finished the project I have been working on for three long months. It is a Star League era Mech Repair Facility from the Battletech Universe. My concept was to make a structure that had interchangeable repair gantries so (...) (19 years ago, 24-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc) !

  Re: BrickLink down?

  A quick LEGO History

Someone on a local Detroit area Historic Preservation site asked me if "LEGO By Samsonite" meant that Samsonite sold the company to LEGO. Well I went off on a long tangent, and I thought I would cut/paste it here on a LEGO forum. Since I wrote this (...) (19 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

  Best year

Dear Lego, You've restored my faith in the company. If you asked me last week, I would have said 1991 was the best year ever for Lego town.   New castle line

I'm actually pretty saddened that an entire new castle line is introduced and Lugnet doesn't have a single post on it, whereas there are pages of stuff elsewhere. Geez, what happened to this forum? (19 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.castle)

(...) It's such an unappealling aspect ratio. 6x12 would match the old ones better but I'd be more inclined to 6x14 or 6x16. 6x10 just looks nothing like a real container (half or full). Tim (19 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Using the Lego CD "FIND" Command.

I almost forgot.... One of the nice things about using the LEGO CD is how easy it is to use the FIND command to find a set number within a chapter.
