I'm sure may of us will have been in the situation where they thought a model was the real thing from the thumbnail. Hello Steve, I would explain it like this: A gearbox with 4 gears forward plus 1 reverse with range change will give 4 lower gears and 4 upper gears, thus giving 8 gears forward. The splitter makes it possible to split these 8 gears when the truck (...) (19 years ago, 16-Dec-06, to lugnet.technic)

I inquired into making the LEGO CD as a book. All I can say is YIKES!! I checked with www.lulu.com ... a company that specialized in produced books for authors who don't want to go thru a publishing house.... and the price of making the LEGO CD (...) (19 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.announce)

(...) This is already an option! Use the command line "-b 1" to get the bottom layer of plates studs up instead of studs down. (...) Now that's a cool idea. I've been messing around with remote-controlling the NXT via Bluetooth from a PC application, and it seems pretty solid. (...) Steve, yes you will be getting the Limited Edition version of the CD. And also the "extra" CD with 89 other LEGO images on it! So the sculpture would be completely studs out execept for the bottom, which would always be studs up instead of studs down like it is now. Not sure how this (...)
