Re: Where Have All the Studs Gone?

(...) For smaller length Technic bricks I have found Star Wars sets to be pretty useful, with the added benefit that they often contain many other useful bricks as well. Even Harry Potter sets seem to use quite a few. ROSCO FUT: .dear-lego (19 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

  Re: LDD Train Station MOC

(...) SNIP (...) Hi Jordan, This looks really cool and impressive. I tried to find it in your gallery on factory.lego.com (username jbschwarz) but I didn't see it there.   Re: Where Have All the Studs Gone?

(...) You should be grateful anyone responds to your blithering at all. Seems to me everyone else moved on from the studless whinge ages ago, and apparently don't particularly want to go there again.   Re: Where Have All the Studs Gone?

(...) Richie, I don't know why you would assign an arbitrary and incorrect timeline to events which you did not personally witness. Enter LEGO Retail, ask sales associate which current Technic sets include "classic studded Technic beams." Clerk (...) (19 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

(...) I haven't seen that problem with L3PAO myself. <advert> Personally, I dropped L3PAO a while ago and wrote a replacement, which IMO has a few more useful features and is slightly more up to date. L3PGen can be downloaded from: (URL) comments (...) (19 years ago, 3-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Where Have All the Studs Gone?

(...) So there you were, with an armful of Pick-a-Brick cups and a copy of Creator set 4956 in your sweaty little hands and you then asked for a set with studded technic beams?   Re: Where Have All the Studs Gone?

(...) The studless beams have their place, but they are not a perfect replacement for studded beams in all circumstances. A studded beam can almost always be used in place of a studless one, but the reverse is not true. If I wanted to place (...) (19 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

  Re: AARRRROOOOooo...ooo!!!

I was watching Van Helsing and I was thinking that the size is good as compared to how big that Werewolf was. This is a good size and an interesting combination of parts. Good work! -eric (19 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)
