  XXIII LEGOFEST: missing in action

Re: GBC at BrickFest 2006

Hi Brian, hi everybody, (...) I'd like to suggest to use e.g. Google Video instead of YouTube, as long YouTube requires Flash to view the videos. Google Video allows to download the videos in their native format, so it is usable with free players (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: GBC at BrickFest 2006

(...) It was quite an impressive array of modules. I wonder where the trains got emptied, and if there ever was an overflow in some module, given the enormous number of balls? Cheers Jürgen (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Good news Kerry! Harold is featured in the Target catalogue starting this Thursday - 20% off Lego. Hopefully Cranky will be there too. Deidre (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Best of BrickFest pics

I've finally had a chance to go over all the photos I previously posted from BrickFest, and selected what I feel are the best. Some are great photos, while others are photos of great things. Still others are just photos of things that are (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: GBC at BrickFest 2006

(...) I have a GBC video on YouTube...search for "Brickworkz" - (it's currently being processed so I don't have a URL yet) Unfortunately some of the devices weren't working when I came by. (...) I also posted (URL) footage of Droidy>. Enjoy! Folks, (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: Puerto Brico : Pirates everyday life

(...) Great stuff, Eric! My favorite detail is the yellow shutters on the tavern - very Caribbean. And I second Tom's comment that this could be an official set. Thanks for sharing. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: Articulation with "working" connecting rods

(...) snip (...) Actually I wouldn't call that cheating at all, I'd call it compromise. And as far as I'm concerned, compromise is fine (even necessary!) in building LEGO models. I would probably do something like Teunis did in his S-class, but (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Hey, BrickShelf-users, seen this?

I noticed when you add the demensions of the file size to the file name, the image doesn't get resized in the Brickshelf page image placeholder browser window. As if the image was meant to be seen in a large format. Ie.. Desktop or Wall paper sized (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  TRU and Prices

Any one else notice that TRU is starting to take on the same price practice that KB does. Some sets are lower then TLG, but then most of the sets are available for a buck or two more. For example the heavy hauler is 26.99 at TRU, but I can find it (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Puerto Brico : Pirates everyday life

(...) Hi Tom, Thanks for the nice and detailled comments, I can see I succeed in my study for that model. It's very pleasant. If a lot of people, like you,ask Lego maybe they could buy my set and produce it... sweet dream ;>) I'm wondering to make (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Bluetooth COM Ports

Hi, I noticed there are a lot of COM ports that the Lego Software set up with my computer. (Control Panel, System, Hardware Tab, Device Manager, Ports (COM and LPT).   Re: Hey, BrickShelf-users, seen this?

(...) Yes! More of this sort of thing! I would just love to be able to view with the option to exclude a category. Then I could search for 'not-bionicle'. I'd have the triple-whammy of elimintating all that un-lego (sorry, ;-), all the s'kiddies, (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-06, to lugnet.general)
