Re: new vignette: the grass is always greener, or is it?

(...) So does this mean that you are going to be working more with minifigs? If you have given up on that, maybe you can one day post using caps. Jude (20 years ago, 30-Aug-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Value of incomplete 6075-2 original yellow castle?

I posted this on the rec.toys.lego newsgroup, and some folks kindly directed me here. I just got a bunch of stuff back from my parents that's been in storage for probably 12 years, which included a lot of LEGO blocks. On PICSL I was able to find a (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.castle)

new vignette: the grass is always greener, or is it?

while the grass may always appear to be greener on the other side of the fence, things are not always as they seem. a "dab" hand with the paintbrush works wonders. (2 URLs) enjoy> soon. -§ deborah higdon-leblond §- (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX) !

  GAZ-M20 Pobeda

So, after doing a Gallery (Klaus Dobisch as I've since been informed) style Soviet plane I've decided to move on and mimic another German builder. So here is my Pobeda in the style of (URL) misterzumbi>. Of course I also made it smaller... five-wide (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  New BricxCC test release

  Re: 45 Degree Crossing Ready

There are definitely improvements that need to be made. As it is right now this cross over is very hard on train wheels. What you suggest is one of two major improvements that could be made to this cross over. The other is to build up a base that (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

GBC Website going down for maintenance

All, All that and no a/c either. This 98 degree heat has finally killed my central air unit, and we are running hot! We need a new one and the server will need to be taken off line for a short while. I'll post a follow up to this message after I (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 45 Degree Crossing Ready

(...) Not bad for a first attempt! I do have one little quibble though - it really needs some guard rail sections opposite each frog. If you look at the LEGO points (switches) you'll see what I mean. Your crossover would probably need 8 such rails. (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Making parts: circles

(...) This looks like it will work. Are the measurements in LDU's? I'm assuming they are, but I'd like to ask to be sure. How would I then turn it into a part sortable in MLCad? (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 45 Degree Crossing Ready

I love the part. I can see it as a nice solution to make a double-crossover. (4 switches with the 45 Degree Crossing in the middle) - That way I won't have to cut expensive switches - its a small solution for a double-crossover. Do you think it will (...)
