Re: Expanding the range of pirate headwear

Wait, you mean the minifigs come with their headwear permanently attached? That's just . . . wow . . . :( (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Got any cow catcher ideas?

Hi All, I am working on a 4-8-4 (6-wide, BBB wheels, in black) and I'm stuck trying to design or come up with ideas for the cow catcher. I know there are many great cowcatcher ideas out there. Unfortunately there just isn't a centralized place to go (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Brickfest : Anyone arriving on Wednesday ?

(...) To answer your last question first--I am coordinating the Mosaic section. Send me an email if you have a special request or a need for something (or just respond here). I also might be able to help you out with holding your Lego afterwards but (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2006 Venue visit

(...) Thanks for the description of the area. What about bars and restaurants, is there something (like IHOP) open 24 hrs in the area? Jude (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  TTT - Question

Would a bad move equal an immediate loss? For example, if my bot failed to mark a square but signalled it was done, would that be an immediate loss? -Rob A> (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: EP III questions (spoilers if you haven't seen it)

Yes, you caught the clumsy directing and continuity there! Unless, in that galaxy far, far away, pregnancies are much shorter. And I assumed it was Tarkin, too. So, the Death Star was "New" in Ep IV (its weapons needed a suitable target for (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Newswatch: Fifth Legoland Park in Kansas City area in 2009

(...) Everything the City Council is asking for seems quite reasonable. If Legoland can't make it work, then maybe it just wasn't meant to be there. (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.loc.us.ks, lugnet.loc.us.mo, lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.legoland)

  Re: Watching Arrays

(...) The way to do this is to find out the variable number assigned by NQC to your array variable and then watch that variable number plus all the ones up through the size of your array. You can find out the variable number by viewing the code (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: Using Blender to animate Ldraw models

(...) Sorry, I didn't find anything to access that function. It might actually be neat to do at rendering stage, and a somewhat similar effect can be reached using subsurf and creases.. not quite right, though. (20 years ago, 15-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Brickfest : Anyone arriving on Wednesday ?

(...) Yvonne- This year's BrickFest is located at Tysons Corner, which happily is the location of the local LEGO store and hardly a dozen miles from Dulles International. The store always gears up for BF, setting aside damaged and one of a kind (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)
