Re: ideas for a RIS 2.0 - Rechargability

(...) This would be nice, but remember that toy companies are one of a few reasons disposable batteries exist. :-) On the subject of rechargability though, has anyone used the new Energizer Ni-MH batteries in the RCX? How do they compair to normal (...) (25 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Lego mentioned on game show

I was channel surfing tonight and stopped at the quiz show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" on ABC when I heard someone mention LEGO. The question was something like "What toy name means 'play well'? ". The possible answers were (a) Atari, (b) (...) (25 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Lego on TV

I saw an American TV show tonight called "Who wants to be a millionare?". This poor soul was up to $32,000 with 5 questions left to 1 million. his next question was for $64,000. The question? "What toy translated into english means play well?" I (...) (25 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Just spoken to the spm. His gut feeling is somewhere in the region of US$4000 to $5000 BUT he reckons the managers' (who although consider the whole lot to be a plastic junk) would value the spare parts much, much higher. How much higher I don't (...) (25 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
