  Re: school mosaic project

(...) I actually would do it in bricks instead of plates, and I would use lime green, medium blue and regular blue... great way to get rid of lime green imo. When I build a mosaic, studs out, I overlap bricks on the seems of the baseplates and I (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: High speed train instructions: not quite an MOC

(...) I'm 100% sure and it is still working for me. It may be a regional blocking thing. Tim (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) I totally agree, Tim. Feels like you're actually in the station, at minifig scale. Now if you could get that effect on LCD-display glasses in real-time video - that would be sweet. (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) Sorry, but I echo Ross... page not found. Are you sure the page you wanted to post is at assets .lego .com?? That's where the link points.... Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Imperial Star Destroyer 10030

(...) Unfortunately, no...Here's a thread of messages at FBTB discussing this: (URL) some are old gray, some are new, and people have not found a way to determine what color it will be without opening the box... :( -Bryan (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.color)

Re: A Beautiful Machine prototype and perhaps a challenge/idea

(...) Very nifty! Another way would be to have a second switch that is on except when the scissors are at the bottom, and wire it in parallel with the activation switch. Sorta like how they get car windscreen wipers to always go back to the right (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: High speed train instructions: not quite an MOC

(...) Very odd. It works fine for me. I just tested a couple of minutes ago. Tim (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: NXT to NXT communication?

(...) Sounds like it's a firmware block though, so hopefully it can be overcome with "NxtOS" or whatever in future. ROSCO (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Review of 7897 Passenger Train available at ILTCO site

(...) I think Ondrew was talking about the "time-out" mentioned somewhere, that the IR electronics switches off after a certain time if there's no signal from the controller. I'd be interested in knowing that too. Also, if you get a chance, could (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: A Beautiful Machine prototype and perhaps a challenge/idea

(...) <snip> (...) <snip> It is slightly more complicated than that. In order to make it go up slow enough to be interesting, I had to gear down the speed of the motor. As such I go from 8 teeth (I think) on the motor to the big 40 (?) teeth on the (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: The perfect power strip...

(...) While on the subject of power suppies. It's been mentioned in the past by others, but I recomend swapping in a slightly beefier transformer to run your trains. The LEGO train power controller can output upto 1 amp, but most of the wallwarts (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: A Beautiful Machine prototype and perhaps a challenge/idea

A Beautiful Machine prototype and perhaps a challenge/idea

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) You'd wonder why they couldn't just fold the Factory parts bags into the S@H bulk parts lists. After all, the parts bags must have internal part numbers. JB (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)
