Re: New Space Moc - Amazing Stories

Ooooh, aaaaaaah. Super nice. I'm really taken with this MOC. Excellent idea, and executed very well. Nice to see something so different come out of .space. -Brendan (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Sorry about that. I still read it the wrong way around... shows how much things are imprinted in our brains. --SNIP-- (...) For anyone interested this is the code. You need to get the include file from (URL) here> // Stereo setup #include (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Man - no one spells it right, even when it's right in front of them! Don't worry about it. :) (...) I have POV-Ray v3.6, but to be honest, I haven't spent much time using it - I get LPub to do it for me. I should learn it. Could you get me a (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) Agh! I love that you can buy models priced per-part, but the part placing is driving me nuts! Tiles are the worst - they just won't fit. Try placing two headlight bricks (1x1 brick with stud on side) side-by side, then attaching a 1x4 tile (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: May 20th SMART Meeting: BrickHeap Wars!

It's just over 10 days until BrickHeap Wars! We have 6 teams now, only two of which are SMART teams. Since a team is 4 to 6 people, there are going to be a lot of SMART members who won't be participating unless another team or two is started. There (...) "Marc Nelson Jr." <marcnelsonjr@gmail.com> wrote in message news:Iz0Mzp.3Aq@lugnet.com... (...) Can you list the part ID for the elements in the description? I use part ID's a lot on bricklink, and this would be of help when comparing LDD prices to (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Manitou Rotary Truck

(...) Hi Mervyn, that's a nice model, great functionality and very Technicky. Well done! ROSCO (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Yet another mech inspired by Highway Haulers

(...) Hi there! Great collection of mecha you have built! I really like the overall form of your models, they look quite playable too. (...) This is a good place to come to learn! The feedback I have recieved here over the years has helped my (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: So THAT's what it does...

(...) Ah, now that's a good idea. A couple of diodes in series could cope with the power, and provide a consistent and measurable cue that current is flowing. I could use that to turn off a sound sensor whilst the train is moving, then enable it (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) I was confused (URL) here> as well, on closer inspection that definitely looks like all-plastic track. And the wheels on the motor have axle holes, so it's definitely an battery-powered, IR-controlled motor. There's no battery box or handheld (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: NXT newsgroup needed

(...) Thanks, John. You've described things well. I'm holding off on creating a new group for a few reasons. One is: when more information comes to light about the NXT, it may become apparent that 'RCX' is a good place for discussion of it. (Heh, At (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

LEGO Factory price list - Basic Bricks

I've started compiling the prices for parts from the new LEGO Factory palette. The parts are in lots of 10, and prices are in USD. I hope this will be useful to those who just want to buy bricks without assembling anything in LDD. Please let me know (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX) !

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) The 9v motor looks non-powered to me. These may be Hobby Train parts only we're seeing, with the overlapping coupling levers and magnets available to 9v and Hobby Train parts, or so it seems... Ed (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) That is new track. So I am a bit confused on that. Why have 9V motors but not track? My wild guess is that they will be available in boxes only. Joe (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

Re: Mini land scale 1968 American La France Aero Chief 90

(...) I love the scale and details. Figs? It would be cool to see some. Also, you need to crop your images to more managable sizes; they are too large and cumbersome to view, which is a shame. Nice work. JOHN (20 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic, FTX)
