Re: Horseshoe Bend Rail Road - Rail Truck

(...) Thats is really nice, curiously I was reading a magazine review of the Bachmann model a couple of days ago. I love the way you have managed to fit the 'workings' into the load space and keep the diminutive look of the cab and hood. Its one of (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: WW1 War Department 2 foot gauge Baldwin

(...) I've said this to you elsewhere but I'll say it again... Excellent work as usual! You've really taken the narrow gauge idea and pushed it brilliantly. High accuracy on a working train (and a flashing fireplace). Now you just need release more (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Techno Union Starfighter

(...) I like your design, it's nice and clean, although it's more sleek than the picture in Lucas' databank... the original ship looks more bloated, kind of like a tick. Yours is too "nice" - it doesn't have that bloated tick look :) Kelly (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Interesting AFOL article in NJ paper

(URL) is a pretty decent introduction to AFOLs. Has some interesting quotes from Steve Witt, and mentions BrickFest. One downside: everybody is quoted as saying "Legos". >_< - Kelly (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: TanSport

(...) I can understand that. When I began building this I simply wanted to do something tan... and thus never thought about other options that much, though I still think the colours look good. I'll think about that for the next time. Thanks for (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker

(...) Ditto Fradel's comment on Zoids. I wonder, if a quadraped mech was actually built, would it work better with a mammal layout (like Rabbit Wrecker) or more of an insect/crustacean layout (like the Iron Mecha entries). I had that winch part at (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: New Moc: Kestrel

(...) I like that bright orange/burnt orange color combination, I don't think I've seen that before. That cockpit design is also cool, a little more impact than just a solid wedge piece, although I wish the color matched. I'd suggest trying to get (...)   Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) Thanks. (...) It does open but what is inside is pretty ugly. A carefully arranged fig with a big cannon could probably block the interior though. I might have to give it a go... watch this space. Tim (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) That's brilliant work, very true to the original. Nice little detail bit on that front landing wheel. Does the side door open? It would be cool to open it up and stick a little Saito minifig in there with an impossibly ginormous sniper cannon! (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) I'm sorry but since they're not really mine to give I can't. I did find a pic of the chopper though ((URL)) if you're interested. (...) Yep. I've got a different one (with bubble cockpits) started but it's gonna be a slow process so I'll give (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Ben's LEGO Page

Ben's LEGO Page - A sampling of LEGO related creations from the imagination of Ben Fleskes I've been posting in the LEGO on-line community for years. I've had a variety of websites going back to 1997. Unfortunately, over the years the pages (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.pirates, FTX) !

(...) Non è da escludere. Bisogna chiedere. (URL) Ho fatto qualche modifica alla proposta 5. Che ne pensate? Luca (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug, FTX)

Re: Ghost in the Shell Transport Helicopter

(...) Yow. BTW, Could you make those scans available? But yeah, that seems to be a very accurate version of what was in GITS (at least for Lego, anyways). I guess next on your list is the tilt-rotor or the AI attack copters (the ones that look like (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.space)

  TexLUG Tanker

I must warn you it's nothing exciting. It's just a blatent rip-off of Casey Mungle's corrugated tanker car design, I just gave it a Texas twist. I've been on a 'build for the club' kick, and I thought it'd be sweet to have this riding around our (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us.texlug, FTX) !

  Re: Skid Steer Loaders

(...) I see now what you mean by all wheel steering. Deere dosen't offer steering on their skid steer loaders. The control layout is different too. If I can be of any help just ask. I would like to see your MOC when its done. (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 3 days and counting

(...) And to speed things up, if anybody has any questions they'd like to frame *now*, so we'd have an answer prepared on 1 May, that would be great... (...) Hey, how'd you get a number? I want a number too!! (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)

WW1 War Department 2 foot gauge Baldwin

I have finally finished my latest MOC, a (just larger than) Technic fig scale narrow gauge steam loco. I've written up a (URL) MOCpage> with loads of writing so probably best to go there so I don't have to say it all again. (2 URLs) I have also (...)
