(...) Yeah, I wouldn't mind this either, so I could build my 04 or 06. But I'm not holding my breath, still too niche of a car to garner enough sales for Lego ;-) If it had anywhere near the gizmos of the real 2G Prius, though, it would be an (...) (20 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Interesting old packaging variants

Hi all, I just got second copies of a few older sets in my collection, and found some interesting packaging variants. The biggest change was with (URL) Set 120> from 1966.   Re: Lego Graffiti

(...) There have been a few good colourful ones in town scenes of various shows, but I can't find any on Brickshelf at the moment. Reducing the resolution of a real image doesn't work for anything but mosaics. Try building it up layer by layer. (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Lego Graffiti

(...) I did some very simple graffiti for my NY Subway scene and I can send you the MPD if you like. The basic principle I worked on was using colours to 'spray' out from the letters.   Lego Graffiti

Hi all. Seeing as a lot of you tend to do large town scenes for layouts (and I couldn't find a group any more relevant :), can anyone give any suggestions on how to do graffiti on a wall? I have a large (64 studs x 12 bricks) wall in plain grey and (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: I need advice on how to transport models to a Con?

(...) Well here's my usual plan of attack remove everything that is held on by only 1 or 2 studs. Things like tables and antennas come to mind. The next thing you'll need to do is add some basic bricks in or around the model to make it more stable. (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.storage)

Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

  Re: Proposed new colour

(...) You are indeed correct. I thought they were but I realise the yellow colour came from the bag it was in rather than the metal itself. Tim (20 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: ChMe2 Russian switcher

I need advice on how to transport models to a Con?

I've got several Moonbases (mostly giant endcaps) and many ships and rovers that I'm taking to a sci-fi con. I need serious, and immediate advice on how to move these safely and easily.   Re: Proposed new colour

(...) Note: Train wheels (on the motor) are in fact chrome, and although in my experience they're not as smooth as the rendered chrome, I think the current colour is fine for them. ROSCO (20 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Hi all, Just a (URL) little switcher>. I thought it was cute and relatively challenging but not too much so it was perfect for a quick build to procrastinate on my main projects.
