  Re: Nic_1

(...) Ultimate ROBOLAB is an extension to normal ROBOLAB to produce our own stand-alone firmware. (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Window size in train engine

(...) Better yet. Add it at a slight angle and add a sloped roof leading up to it. Oooh! I like this train a lot. Wish I'd spotted it first ;) More Soviet trains is always nice. Looking forward to seeing it finished. Tim (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Project Why? Because I wanna ask!

(...) K, have you met me? Fundamentally, I'm lazy. And the code'll already be written such that the wires don't get twisted. I just wanted to try something different, and it'll give me an excuse to use a soldering iron. I'll stay in the scope of the (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Nic_1

(...) Hey that's pretty amazing for the standard RCX firmware. I guess calculation time doesn't really matter though. I'm a graduate EE taking estimation theory this semester so I'll keep this close to my heart. :-p I can't wait to try 2 mics on the (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MDP Status

(...) I wouldn't think of that list as people who "happen to be part of a particular newsgroup". You should see it as people recommended based on their potential to meet LEGO's goals for the MDP. Who (outside of LEGO) better understands these goals (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Window size in train engine

Ah, the cab windows seemed harder to pull off than the side windows, which is why I focused on those. For the nose though, I don't see why he wouldn't be able to use the new window on the crane car in the freight set. I didn't mean the Krokodil (...)   Re: The Max

(...) you know, I thought I would be too; before I started playing with lego as an AFOL, I only had a glimpse or two of the new colours and had thought that they were pretty evil. But now I really like the light bley, and I've come to like lime and (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: My first MOD*

Y'know, it's times like this that MLCad comes in handy. There's enough ZOMGPAINT posts in the world after all. ;) -Stefan- (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Max

(...) Just because I'll tag Ma Goldie doesn't mean I'm blind--I simply close my eyes and remind myself that it's all for the money. Although you'd have to excuse me for mistaking them for each other--and for that matter, you too, Keith--since short (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Window size in train engine

(...) Hi Sonnich, I had to deal with similar windows on my (URL) VL23>. I first considered plane windows on their side too but discounted it for the same reason so I ended up going for a three brick by four plate brick built window which I thought (...)   Re: MDP Status

(...) It's totally possible, there's someone out there that builds much better robots than I do, and would have been a much better MUP than I am, but they've never posted anything on the internet. However, because I'm part of a particular newsgroup, (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: The Max

(...) Thanks MkII. I've been telling Max to lay off those after mission snacks. He knows full well it goes straight to the legs. Perhaps I'll enter him on NBC's "The Biggest Mech Loser" to get in shape. By all means brag on, you earned it. I'll be (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: set 8480 praticamente nuovo

(...) Uhm... 8668 o 8868? credo il secondo, eh! Se vedo qualcosa di interessante ti informo ;) Ciao RoscoPC (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: The Max

(...) Thanks ME. I see you're a legs man, I'm into breasts myself. One thing I was worried about was pulling off the armor look to the legs. I didn't want the KK joints too exposed on this build. As to color, it kinda dictated the moc as I build in (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Oh Nick, if its one thing I do in this lifetime, I'll get you to appreciate crotch-mounted hardware. BTW, its not a Smart Phone in my underpants, I'm just always happy to see you. F (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Max

Hi Fradel, It's a good military Mecha MOC but the legs are so chunky it looks to me like a Mech that's 'eaten' too much. Maybe you should have called it 'Max Body Fat'? I like all the 'pods' stuck on the back and the opening hatch so you can get a (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Max

(...) I love it. The legs, in particular - they're so magnificently chunky. The body has a nice hefty feel to it too. I like that you've managed to fit two minfigs in the body without making it too big, and there's some lovely SNOTing in there. (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Ecco i sets di Bob la Spugna...

(...) Sembrano carini. Ma una domanda sorge spontanea: non avevano detto che i set brandizzati rendevano poco? Qui si inventano una nuova serie ogni mese... Ciao Gabriele -- gb at biffuz dot it (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)
