Hi all, BrickJournal is steadily growing making headway toward its goal of being printed. For those who want a printed issue, Issue 1 and 2 are available at lulu.com, but because it's print-on-demand, the prices are high. Since the first issue, I (...) (...) No, it's not. The wire ring item increases the flexibility of positioning electric components around a model. It allows you to "do more" over the existing Lego wire. To do the same without it, would require more software (as Derek suggests) or (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Yeap. Pedantic would describe that pretty well. Wire is wire. JB ps: I've got some of this really quick wire of sale, sensor results arrive 1.75nS earlier than other brands ;) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Sorry, but Star Wars isn't science fiction.:-) Really, it isn't. The technology is contrived for the sake of the story, which is why it's unrealistic. The space ships have windows! Cap ships exchange broadsides a few feet away from each other! (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

 | | Re: Track color

(...) If it says "Copywrite 2003" it is old gray. It has been my experience that all boxed straights, curves, and points are old grey. The new Harry Potter train set has new gray track as the track had to be made for the set. Bruce (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.color)

(...) Not to be pedantic but it's pedantic. :) There's been one or two examples. Given an average of five entries per each of our 17 contests, there's bound to be some. But they're isolated situations. If you want to do it, go ahead. I will request (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Can anyone tell me if there is any old gray track to be found at Shop at Home or at the Washington DC area company stores (straight, curved, points)? Is there any way to tell the track color from looking at the box? Thanks, Mike #1245 (20 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.color)

(...) How about coding your robot so it doesn't twist them up in the first place. Adding the turntable in the wire means your wires won't twist up, which means they won't add tension to the connectors which means they won't pull off the connectors (...)
