Uh...how about...NO. Didn't you read the item about:
"Only Lego pieces can be used and only "normal" construction techniques-No
sawing, gluing or melting of pieces. You can use as many or as few pieces as you
wish."
HiTechnic stuff has always been and always will be, offlimits. We all love John
Barnes, don't get me wrong, but this is a item we've been over and over and over
again on.

| (...) I sure dont. John Barns KILLED my dog!!! I saw it with my own eyes. He drove up here in a pick up with the LegWay logo on the side, and then aimed for that cute harmless puppy. It was evil. | (...) not to be pendantic, but can I mention that you've allowed non-official sensors in other competitons before? With the premise that the 'bot 'could do it with regular 'LEGO' sensors, but the builder didn't swap 'em in and used the HiTechnic. I (...) (19 years ago, 9-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
