Re: Which set is the infamous Forest Wench in?

(...) But it was correct, and it was better than nothing, yes? If Thomas went to the search box and typed "siege tower set" he'd be right there. Sure, an actual URL is more useful, but if I was looking for more information on some element, I'd be (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

CanGrabber 2 - Improved entry for Joel's RCX Challenge

I have revised the design for my soda can collector and updated my page at (URL) - The robot now collects all three cans before returning to home, improving the time on my test course from 5 minutes to a bit over 2 minutes.   Parts for LDraw or parts for POV-Ray? (was: Re: i admit i was wrong)

(...) I disagree on this point. LDraw parts should be primarily focused on optimizing rendering in LDraw-tools. Among other things, this means that small-radius curved edges are better drawn as sharp edges. Heck, when you get right down to details, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Pics of Dutch railways models

Hi Eric, Very nice site. I really liked all the detail you put into the train station. The trash spilled on the ground was very realistic. And I loved your trees. The whole thing was very creative. Thanks for sharing it with us, Adam (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

8480 Space Shuttle (was Re: Gears & Mico Motor)

(...) 8480 Space Shuttle is still at the Toys-R-Us in Kingston, MA (I was there last night). They have at least two (probably 4 or 5 but I didn't dig all the way to the back of the shelf to count them). Despite a $159.99 price on the shelf, it comes (...)   Re: Myrmidon Class Starfighter

(...) LeoCAD has been around for quite awhile, which will output LDraw files. There's MLCAD, of which not much has been said; at least around here. Maybe there's more about this package on RTL? Also, LDAO has two editors. One is the Modeler, it's (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Greetings, Does anyone know of a place to get the 8880 from in the US. I do not wish to buy one from auction (I'm not that desperate yet). Any store locals or phone numbers would be appreciated. <<...>> -----Original Message----- From: Tilman (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I was just surfing the web and discovered that TRU has an online special. $10 off your first purchase. They have a decent selection of legos.
