Hi all, Recently I was looking through the CSF stampunk inspirations galleries and found (URL) this picture>. I thought this was pretty cool since it combined a train, some town and some pipes. Rather than using it for inspiration, I decided to (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

(...) Thanks for those additional links. I understand what you're saying. I am so hungry for dark red bricks in bulk that it is not funny. (...) Hmm, could be. I may experiment with this technique tonight or tomorrow. (...) That will be great! I (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: John Neal: Have you finished this building?

(...) Personally, I don't think that they are too thick and bulky looking. When creating such a structure, the builders would simply flip up on end the bricks with which they are building to create the lintel. That pic you've selected is actually a (...)   Re: Got balls? Heads up.

(...) Actually, it would be kind of cool to have a module that just circulates the eggs & balls, but only passes the balls forward. No one else has to deal with them, as long as you don't let them out. Sort of like this module (from Brian Davis): (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Got balls? Heads up.

(...) Janey, thanks for playing with these new balls and telling us all about them. Brian, if you wanted to make a module that passes soccer, but retains horta eggs, then you would need to make EVERY module be able to deal with both sized balls. (...)   John Neal: Have you finished this building?

(URL) I was poking through your Brickshelf gallery yesterday and noticed this. I have long been thinking about a similar approach to the lintels. I am interested in seeing how it came out. (...) What is m6459.ldr? Just a model file, or something special? Do you have file paths with blanks in them? If so, this is a problem. Not all the tools that LPub uses supports this. Kev (20 years ago, 15-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad)

(...) ... (...) Janey, I know what you mean about soccer balls moving around. At the last train show, a few people were talking about the "soccer ball factory". We may go that direction next time. Uninstalled LDView and LPub2 (neither of which actually do a complete un-install as they leave registry keys, sub-directories, start menu items, etc lying around) Removed all traces of them. Install LDView 3.0 (13th Dec 2005 build) Set LDraw (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad)

  RE: LPub woes

Hi Travis, Unfortunately you're right in that it doesn't fix the LPub problems. One minor point, you may want to update the m6459.ldr file as some of the parts have been ~moved (and LPub can't cope with those as it looks in parts.lst for its (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad)
