Implecations of 6 LEGO Units Thick Fence

What constructions can follow from (URL) this 6 LEGO Unit fence part>? I haven't fussed with ideas, yet, but I wonder if there are some new stud-offsets to be found with this 6LU thick fence. Train doors and engine vents always come to mind, but (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Meeting Dec 3rd in Monrovia

(...) Thanks, Ryan. I've got it now. I'll forward the 2005 email list to Scott shortly to keep him from using the 2001 list again. :) -Dave (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  Re: TARGET WAS CRAZY

(...) Almost right. :-) Target probably gave the AP photographer permission to take photos for a holiday story with the stipulation that they get to prescreen the photos (and possibly keep copies) before giving the approval to run them. And *that* (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Meeting Dec 3rd in Monrovia

Granted I was a bit late in sending it out, but I did send it. Seeing as how my good buddy Dave changes his email address bi-annually I had an old address in my master list. I have since updated it, but I really need to try to get updated addresses (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  Re: TARGET WAS CRAZY

(...) There is a higher resolution, though Black & White version of this image available on the web @ (URL) a blow up: (URL) leave it to the reader to decide if it is who we all think it is. If so, this is a coincidence of massive proportions. (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: TARGET WAS CRAZY

(...) Actually I bet the AP story was legit, and after it ran the Target security folks realized they finally had a good picture of him. I bet previously he was good at avoiding giving the Target security cameras a good look at his face, and Target (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Striscione ITLUG (leggete per favore)

(...) Però mi chiedevo se non fosse più bello mettere un minifig a destra della scritta: gambe rosse e torso blu per seguire i colori del logo, la classica faccia sorridente gialla e un cappellino sempre rosso, visto di fronte con il braccio (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: Mindstorms on Slashdot

this may sound a bit dumb, but give it a few seconds of consideration (and try to supress your own prejudices): One of the problems with being an AFOL is that the bright, happy colors of Lego pieces make everything look like a preschool toy. If I (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: TARGET WAS CRAZY

(...) I agree with JT. I'm about 95% certain it's Swanberg in the act of pilfering LEGO sets. The coincidence is just too great. Because I'm a busybody with an inordinate prurient interest in stuff like this (as well as trying to avoid doing real (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)
