  Blurry

Since Brickfest I've had non-stop work from LEGO (including stroyboarding what turned out to be six TV commercials) and I finally finished everything today. Could I possibly build a robot TONIGHT I wondered? So for part of my plan, I needed to see (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Excellent Chris, what did you use for the bonds and what did you use for the atoms. And were you also able to show double covalent bonds. (which is something that would be hard to show) I would love to read the article if you want. I get so (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.parts, lugnet.edu)

Re: And I had to laugh!

(...) Well stated Eric, For me "LEGOS" is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I always find myself correcting folks (politely), by telling them that they are "moiderin' the King's English". Same thing when people use "monies" incorrectly. Gary Istok (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

Pulling a Hassenplug or an Elliott

I dunno, I'm so tempted at this time to pull a JeffE and show up with a sticker from the Santa Fe and put that on the 2x4... This is hard... Maybe I'll pull a SteveH and look how I can bend the rulz to my favour... Hmmmm... Dave K -still (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: self-propagating RCX program

(...) I agree with you that it is probably not realistic, but that wont stop me having fun trying. I would like to build a robot that can build stuff, though I will probably not use the RCX to control it - something with many more outputs and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What was the first set you bought for parts, and how old were you?

(...) For me it was as an adult. Circa 1980 (I was 27), and it was the London Bus Set #760 (#384 in Canada, Britain, Australia and continental Europe). This set was first produced in 1975 in USA (1974 elsewhere). I found them on clearance at a "J. (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun, FTX)

Re: What was the first set you bought for parts, and how old were you?

(...) I remember buying the Beach Buggy 8845 because it had suspension springs. I think I was 8 at the time. I had £20 and that was about £13 and the rail tanker 7816 was £6.49. That was in preference to one £20 set because of the parts. It was the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun, FTX)

Re: And I had to laugh!

Hmmm... I think the "average consumer" (and collectors alike) need to realize the position that LEGO is in. Under American trademark law LEGO must make a continuing effort to distinguish it's trademark. The company is probably posting statements (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

Right. As stated in (URL) I had my part certified in no time (URL) but it being published in a new 'parts update' is taking a bit longer... :) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Space Slug Fighter

Hey Ryan, While most everything about this MOC rocks as hard as Ron Jeremy in his prime, that's quite simply the coolest hatch design I've ever seen. Photography is aces as well. Hating you now. :-) David Simmons (21 years ago, 9-Sep-05, to lugnet.space)
