G'day all, For my latest MOC, I decided to branch out a little bit. For the most part, I build Space, but since I bought a couple of BFF's a couple of years ago, I've been wanting to see what I could build with the parts. I built this: (URL) A small (...)   Re: Lego competition at the Puyallup Fair

(...) David, I've been meaning to enter this year after year and never seem to get around to it. It's not looking any better this year.   Tripping a relay.

I'm constructing something similar those "solar lanterns" you see in people's gardens, except on a larger scale. It charges up during the day, and automatically turns on at night. I'll be using a photvoltaic panel to charge a 12v 12Ah battery. The (...) (21 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: When will the Vikings raid the US?

(...) Hey Brendan, I've got no official word, but the word from Brickfest (which I was not at, so this is second-hand) was that these will be in TRU stores in October. I still think they will also be available through S@H, so I think "TRU exclusive" (...) (21 years ago, 20-Aug-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: MegaBloks

Please note than when I posted on this thread in early July we did not know when the sets would be released in North America and I was pestering Jake for more information (which he did not have yet).   Re: When will the Vikings raid the US?

When will the Vikings raid the US?

I've been away on vacation for a couple weeks and a little out of the loop. Does anyone know if/when the Viking line will be available in the US? I searched for info on Lugnet but didn't find much.   Re: I am not a nazi.

Hey Richie, I'm still a bit confused on one question: are you, or are you not, a Nazi? ;) More seriously, I did think the reception you got was over-harsh. This area of humor is always a very tricky thing--Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Charlie Chaplin, (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.people, FTX)

  Re: What a fest!!!!

(snip) (...) I can echo the feeling over on the Train layout. I was talking to a family about my red train station, when the mom made a gesture and accidentially knocked the stairway roof off. Greetings all- Having just gotten another of the 8421 cranes (total is 2) I decided on a whim to build the Liebherr LG 1750 (it is possible to build the chassis using these two sets). I set to work yesterday on the chassis, in the afternoon, and (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Brick versions over the years

Re: The Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest

Okay, here's a low-res video of the GBC. It doesn't show my module for very long; the camera was still setting itself up to record and I thought I had stood there long enough, but I hadn't.
