  Hobby Show November

Hello All! I know I haven't been around much. Work sucks that way sometimes. Anyway, no time for dwelling. So here's the scoop. We've attended 2 hobby shows thus far and both have been very successful. We're invited back but this time there's (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on) !

  Re: Build the Trust

In fact I have no idea what to use the gold bricks for. They are just motivation to actually deliver. I mean, I committed. I will probably build a chryselephantine Zeus out of them or something else. -Erik (21 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: Show 10 Concludes our Interview with Joe Meno...

(...) Hmmmm...I wouldn't even know where to begin. I am not a transcriptionist; however, maybe there is someone out in the community who could donate their time back to the community. ;) Steven (21 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Show 10 Concludes our Interview with Joe Meno...

Patrick, Thanks so much for the feedback. I am sooo sorry I haven't responded sooner. I'm not use to finding messages hear about the show. Generally they come via e-mail or are posted on the BimPBoards. Guess if I am going to announce on LUGNET, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego Factory sets released

(...) John- TLC makes 1000s of elements in 100+ (hopefully to be cut in half) colors. That's a lot of theoretical permutations. In any one year, they hardly manufacture a few percent of the possibilities. If they don't make it, we can't buy it (and (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: The First Joe Vig Contest - The Winners!!!

Like everyone else before me, I wanted to thank you guys for running the great contest and I want to sincerely congratulate everyone who entered!   organizzazione diorama legofest Torino

Re: Last Tidbit from NMRA Show-- Unique track lead connection

(...) John- That works well enough if underneath your track you have bricks and open space to run wires. Doesn't help if under the track is baseplates and tables! Bypassing the LEGO track connector wires does seem like a good idea. They are (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: The First Joe Vig Contest - The Winners!!!

(...) I'm not Rick, but since you're asking sincerely... this isn't even vaguely EB. There are a number of characteristics that you need to have. (...) I think actually I told you at NTS and you forgot I told you, but ya, Gaylord building is it. Now, for bonus points, what's the gold brick tie in? ... And YES I think this is a reusable building when I lose, er I mean, if I lose. (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

(...) I am building a minifig-scale model/interpretation of the Farnsworth House in Plano, IL. It will end up slightly off scale due to choice of pieces, but I think it's looking good so far. -nk (21 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Build the Trust

(...) Sorry to reply to myself. Just to come all out, I plan to have 3 buildings done, all of which I can potentially use in future trainshow with our club.
