Re: Increasing POV resolution from L3PAO

Hello Edwin, I'm no Povray expert, but do know the answer to this: (make sure you are using version 3.6 of PovRay) select top-menu 'Render' select item 'Edit settings/render' in the INI File section, where it says 'quickres.ini' press the 'edit' (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: A New Vig: "Over The Edge"

(...) Thanks! Getting both objects to look like they were really moving was quite hard. End the end, I was forced to simply prop the car up on two clear 1x1 round bricks and attach the privy with a click-hinge. Luckily, in most shots, both methods (...)   Re: New LEGO Stores!

(...) I do. I'm about 2-3 hours away from Portland, waaaay up in Ellsworth. (Thats about 15 minutes away from Bar Harbor) So yeah, I'd be great if there was a Lego shop in Bar Harbor or Bangor/Brewer. (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Old railway station

(...) Thanks, that's a picture I have not seen before. It is a different version with a shorter bridge and only 2 platforms. But the platforms are longer and there's a roof above the platform. Can you get a higher quality picture of it? Niels (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Increasing POV resolution from L3PAO

I'm in a Lego CAD class at the moment. One of my students built a large army of Samurai Minifigs about 20 across and 8 deep. He rendered it via POV to a 640x480 (as defined in L3PAO). We tried to increase resolution with a render size up to 4 times (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad)

Most Complex Lego Set Numbers Ever...

I am still working on mapping out the many variations of old Lego set and idea book numbers (for the Lego CD) from the 1950's and 1960's, and there are 3 Lego item numbers that stand out as having ENORMOUS quantities of variations. They are: 1) (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: *** LDView Version 3.0 RC 1 Released ***

(...) Thanks for the report. I actually kind of see it as good news. It validates my use of a public release candidate instead of just going ahead and releasing the official 3.0.
