Dear Lego, Please improve the variety in the Orlando PaB selections. I have stopped in several times since the grand re-opening. Each time, I have found a number of bins that are duplicates (triplicates?) of each other. What was the point of (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Lego Loyalty Cards

Lego has started a loyalty card system for repeat customers. I got one on Friday when I stopped by the Orlando Imagination Center. You get a stamp for every $25 you spend. Get 8 punches and get a $10 gift certificate. Get 16 punches and get an (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Anyone going to Orlando PaB soon?

I stopped by the Orlando PaB on Friday. The only translucent bricks that I saw were green 2x2's. The selection was disappointing as they still have a number of duplicate bins. (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Review of Technic 8421 xxl Mabile crane

As a certified crane/aerial device inspector and heavy equipment technician I love Lego technic construction machinery especially the cranes.   Summary: MUGS 2005-4

(URL) A good turn out for our meeting on Saturday, with most of the regulars plus a couple of not-so-regulars attending. There was a pretty spacey feel about this meeting, but also of note was (URL) Kane's house>, based on a design by (URL) Kevin (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel, FTX)

  M>ltc at Morwell, June 11-13

M>ltc displayed our current layout at the Latrobe Valley Train Show on June 11-13. All went pretty well, and as it was the same layout as we (URL) displayed at Pakenham>, I decided not to take pics of our layout. But for those interested, I've (...)   Re: 8421 first impressions

(...) I just finished mine as well. It is quite an incredible set to build and operate. I like how the cable spools itself in and out with the boom extension/retract though sometimes one seems to outrun the other. With the boom up and extended I (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.technic)

  The Classic-Space.com Concept Collection

  Re: 8421 first impressions

Well, I just finished building this set and all I can say is WOW!! This supplants the space shuttle set as the ultimate technic building set in my humble opinion. The whole body section of the vehicle is chocked full of mechanisms. There's (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: My first Vig! Willy Wonka
