Hi,
Systeem in het spel = System in the play (as in playing with toys)
Systeem bij het spel = System with the play
Du system dans le jeu = System in the play
In this case, the two Dutch (and the French) frases actually mean the same
thing, "System of play".
Why the difference between Flemish and Dutch?
I hope I don't offend anyone, Flemish people speak better the Dutch than the
Dutch themselves most of the time, but sometimes the Flemish say thing a little
bit different than the Dutch.
I think it's because of the fact that the box is from the 50's. Nowadays there
really wouldn't be a difference because it would be way to expensive to make two
boxes ;-)
The French frase is on the box because they speak two (actually three, Dutch,
French, German) languages in Belgium, so everything is bilangual.
Hope this helps,
Saskia
