  5300 (9V motor)

I am researching the feasibility of building an RCX project (mobile wireless TV camera) that moves on a fixed course and gets its power from the mains via an AC adapter (rather than from batteries) and as such, the train components seem to provide (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

With the closing of LEGO New Zealand now is a good a time as any to reveal the opportunity I had to order LEGO pieces in bulk through LEGO NZ. I'm pretty certain that there are others out there who through good fortune are likewise able to order in (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  New Super Car (8448)

Hi there, I normally only post on rec.toys.lego but I thought I would this a go. Deep breath... Go! It is uncanny how close the new 8448 is to the old 8880 in terms of length, width, height, wheel position and size, seat position, etc. Even the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: New Technic Supercar 8448

(...) It _says_ 'hydraulic' in many places, but it's really a pneumatic cylinder/plunger with a spring. Compressing, the plungers' valve opens all the way; releasing, airflow is restricted and slow the expansion of the spring. -gbr (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Train Module at BayLUG

I'm interested to get more technical details, and I'd love to post a definitive instruction page for building the tables on BayLUG ala the page I did for the PNLTC design, ((URL) What are the chances we could make a 'transition table'?   RE: mini powered vehicles (was Re: RCX battery cover)

(...) Yup, that would be 5391, for $5.50 from Shop-At-Home in the US. This battery box is also a good base for various electronics projects. It conveniently includes a 2x6 connector strip on the top. Tilmn -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: EE RF question

Yes, that is what I'm trying to do. I think that this would eliminate interferance. Though the price is tethered operation. I guess it doesn't really have to be a coax. It can just be an RCA A/V cable right? Or how about a single wire! ---...--- (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
