Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Just tested it and that seems to fix the problem. Looks a whole lot better too. Tim (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: My MOCs: large scale jets, cars, and trucks

Hey, Nice stuff! It is the school bus that really catches my eye (all though all the MOCs are great...) maybe that says something about me? : ) Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: LPub

(...) Kevin, this is the same error I documented here (URL) (before I saw this thread). It appears to be a LPub bug, as creating the sub-dir manually gets around it. ROSCO (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) It may be common to all recent releases, but I've found when rendering with ldview or ldglite (havent tested with pov-ray, but can't remember the problem) if the lpub\ldraw sub-directory doesn't already exist I get an error. If I create it (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub

(...) LPub does a few things with mpd. First it unpacks the MPD file into LPUB\LDraw. If there is already a version of main.ldr there and read only, it could be a problem. Does your MPD have path information in the "0 FILE" statements? (...) If none (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) I used the grill for the overpass on my station - not a fence, but looks quite good. (URL) And it would be very easy to smash through from the inside, but that may not be what you want. ROSCO (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) Is this the piece you're referring to: (URL) call it a "train signal mast", it's more than 8 studs long, and yes, you'll have a hard time getting a large quantity of those! -Bryan (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) Ah yes, the one piece that always comes up in the "wouldn't it be great if LEGO made this piece?" discussions. :) Yes, this fence is actually pretty flimsy, with those fence pieces held by only one stud. It would be so much sturdier if there (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Looking for info on an Episode III ship (spoilers)

After Obi-Wan defeats General Grievous, and then evades the clones, he escapes the planet in a small ship. I don't think it's the same Jedi starfighter he went there in, but something different - anyone know what it's called? I'd like some more pics (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) That is how I do it. But, I don't make them that high. (...) Remove the 1x1x5 column and use a combination of 1x1x1 bricks and 1x1 plates & it would work. Jonathan (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)
