Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) Thanks, Larry, I appreciate that. Yes, you picked it out, that's the one. I feel like I'm driving in one of those urban Grand Prix races when I drive through there. It looks like my model will soon be put on display at the field office for the (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) Nice. Spotlighted. Is this the bridge project that's causing all the snaky I-280 detours? The shape of the bottom roadway seems to suggest it is... (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

(...) That's one excellent set of modules you have there. Really, really looks good. Matching modules are rad. (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space)

New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

Greetings. This is a scale model of the Maumee River Crossing bridge, a cable-stayed bridge currently under construction in Toledo, Ohio, USA. In this picture it is only 70 percent complete (14 of 20 cables), and measures 9.5 feet long (2.9 meters). (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

This is really great! I like the ordered but compact nature of it. The ship is also great and really dominates its surroundings (in a realalistic way). On another note: You still building aquazone... Haven't seen anything for a while... God Bless, (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: L-Siren

This is my first comment on a mech. It looks cool. I love the head and body. Depending on the asteroid density, a rapid-fire gun may be a better fit for an in-and-out fighting style. Unless, the charge-n-fire gun is supposed to blow up the asteroid (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

(...) As opposed to...? Anyway, the matching modules look killer. A whole Moonbase of neighborhoods of matching modules would look amazing. --Bram (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Nominations for a trainset poll

(...) Now if ONLY you'd learn from me! I admit stuff all the time. Earlier in the TTX thread, in fact I admitted Jason was right. YOU could learn a lot from that. :-) (...) Why?   Re: MOC: Minifig-scale Tachikoma

(...) Aw, he's cute. And... he's a pet. And he carries a puppy. This tank appears to make friends, not war. Thanks for the underside shot too. That's great insight to the construction. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

(...) Your giant dome panels on the fronts of the lower buildings rock my world. It's great to see a set of matching modules- they all look like they belong together! -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Check This Out

(...) Please excuse the mis-use or lack of proper RR lingo, I'm still new to trains. Here in St. Louis we have the WF&P Rail Road ((URL) route goes along a river, some old railroad beds (I believe) and through some wooded areas, about a 30 minute (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) :-) That stuff is positively KeWl! Funny you should mention that. One of my long-term goals is to build a train consist using Gauge 1 trucks, couplers, and motors (BTW, I've abandoned 14 wide for the correct size for Gauge 1, 12 wide) and run (...)
