Dear mecha readers, you may have noticed the new graphics for our little space here on Lugnet. I worked with Mark Sandlin on these and want to give him a Huge Thank You for helping to get these together. Mark Neumann (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Peeron A9 Plugin

Nicely done! Seems to work fine for me. -Dave (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Titan XP Red

(...) Eric, thank you for the kind comments. This is one model I felt Lego did a fantastic job on...except for the color. I'd love to see others trying out a color swap like I did, but I'm not sure how many possible choices there are...I know there (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Titan XP Red

(...) Hi Marco! Keep on building. Use what you've got available to you. That's what prompted me to re-color the 4508. I knew I had the Dark Red to pull it off, so I went for it. As long as you've got a good way to keep your creations archived via (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Titan XP Red

(...) Hi Kyle! Thanks for the comments! Personally, I would have loved to replace the Orange with Dark Blue for a Dk Blue/Sand Blue combo. Alternately, I wouldn't have minded Lego putting out the Dark Red variant with Sand Red highlights. I don't (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Demag AC 650... er 1600 at my house!

Bad news! The crane packed up and left yesterday! It wasquite asite though. The crane started packing up in the morning, andwasn't finished until late last night. Even the boom was removed (I never new they removed them!). The lattice jib though, (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: ROBOLAB - RCX simulator?

(...) <SNIPPAGE> (...) Well, I might be able to put in some time building a Blender plugin that could assist with this, but not enough to classify as a core developer. between work, kids and such, I don't get much LEGO time as it is. (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Spider Tank

Hey Kyle, I love this tank! The details are phenominal. I think my favorite aspect of it are the treads on the feet because wheels and mecha don't usually go together. Keep up the fantastic work!   Re: Star Wars Weekend Tie Fighter

(...) Oh, my! That is one beautiful TIE Fighter, Jonathan. Probably the best looking brick-based TIE I've seen thus far. I hope to see it in person soon. -Dave (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, FTX)

  Re: More ISD Building Fun...

(...) Here's the actual order of events - as you'll see there is a good reason why the word did not get out even though I'm not proud of it. mid February - I first get word of a possible LUGOLA meeting in late April. March 1st - your message was (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.us.sandlug, lugnet.org.us.lugola)

Re: Custom Lego Building Benches and Tables

Thanks for the reply! Yes, that IS a simple sturdy table! I see you have lots of storage space in that closet too :) Very handy! Just wondering, about how deep is that table? I'm trying to get a feel for a good work area with enough space for parts (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: domanda banale

Re: ROBOLAB - RCX simulator?

(...) Quasi Cognizant thought... if the object was designed in LDraw/MLCad and then was imported to Blender, maybe a converter could be made for BrickCC to Perl to apply generate the motion sequences for Blender, which could then be assigned to (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: HOLD ME.

(...) This is exactly the picture I had in my head when I imagined what a recirculating ballbearing system would be like. It resembles a caterpiller track. Whenever I see a race of ball bearings I always think their should be somthing inbetween them (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: ROBOLAB - RCX simulator?

(...) If you search back to the beginning of the original thread on simulation, that was more or less my original idea. But someone pointed out that LDraw files dont really contain the information about how pieces actually connect to each other, (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: One angry man's complaint about the "MOC highlight"

I don't mind that kind of silly! :-) But it's REALLY silly to highlight whining. 'nuff said, rant off. (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Linear rails and bearings are amazing. Super precise, super rigid, and highly dynamic. The following pictures should give it away without even any text. :) (2 URLs) We make heavy use of linear rails and guides on all of our robots. (URL) (...)
