Dave, I first saw the Titan XP fully built at Rob Limbaugh’s house. His son built it and I was impressed by the shape and form of the Mecha. (except for the antenna sticking up on the head!)

Then my girl friend built it while I was building Mech Bay 08.

It took her quite awhile to complete. Plus the colors in the instructions made it difficult.

When I saw the model again, I said to myself, “they done good”. Except for the Orange! Sorry I’m just not an orange Mecha fan.

If your version of the T XP were the original? I would have brought it right away. I dare say more of them may have been sold. But maybe that is also because I like your version better.

Thanks for sharring!

Eric, thank you for the kind comments. This is one model I felt Lego did a fantastic job on...except for the color. I’d love to see others trying out a color swap like I did, but I’m not sure how many possible choices there are...I know there aren’t many due to some of the rare parts involved.

EDIT: sorry about the late post compared to the others...it looks like LUGNET was down for a bit.
