  Ullared, Ge-Kås

Hoj! (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Lego RC set 8369

Hello Tommy, (...) This I haven't tried yet: using a DC to power Technic wheels (...) DC motors are quite strong, btw: both sides have their own motor. Inside this motor there is some gearing which id defenitly stronger that the regular technic is. (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego RC set 8369

(...) I've tried it now and it didn't work well, perhaps i got carried away too. Anyways i figured that a model powered by the motorpack from DC with the wheels from 8466 would be really cool, at least on paper. I built a frame to support the motor (...)   Re: .loc.au Milestone

(...) Cool! Thanks for letting us (me) know. There's an org.au as well, though it doesn't get much use. (...) Glad to know the Italian lego fans are still alive and well! Cheers Richie Dulin (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Thanks Lenny + My Revised Thoughts About CSF

(...) Thank you Lenny. I'm glad to see your quick return! :D While I am at it, I want to explain my below post: (URL) always try to stay out of these types of discussions, but today I was feeling a but grumpy and posted. Well, I've looked back and (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Spider Tank

(...) Hello Kyle, great work! You did a really good job on this multi-ped (like you always do, BTW). I like your MOC very much. Spider Tank has a wonderfull shape. IMO Studless! The bley and black fit well together. I'm a bit puzzled about the white (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New LEGO Pirate Site & Forum - PirateBricks.com

TLC To Mix Old and New Grays

Just saw this post from a couple of days ago on (URL) Jake Mckee's blog>: In the future, you may see some sets have both old grays and new grays in the same box. It's apparantly a cost-cutting move. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.color, FTX) !

I'm pleased to announce that we've integrated Peeron's search with A9's search engine. You can now add a Peeron "column" to results from A9, showing you set, part and theme results. I've just recently started taking pictures and posting my Mocs. I have a few that go back as far as 5 years. Almost all of them are mecha or mecha related, but here is one that is definitely space.   Re: txt2dat - Create LDraw files from text

(...) Nuthin like a good ol' command line utility ;) though I wouldn't be adverse to someone creating a nice graphical interface - working out which font file to use is a bit of a pain sometimes... ROSCO (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: txt2dat - Create LDraw files from text

(...) Version 0.1.4 now available at the same page. Changes in v0.1.4 are: Use “LDraw inverse colour” for lines. Fixed non-ansi definition of add_char() and add_string(). Implemented better algorithm for choosing the number of segments in splines. (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: ROBOLAB - RCX simulator?

I think there is some sort of simulator for Brickos, which basically involves compiling for the native processor rather than the RCX. But the issue isnt language -- its what do you use for simulating input and output? The one I am referring to, I (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)
