(...) OK. (...) That sounds cool! I've never used LDAO to edit anything before. Let me give it a try before I bug you with it. Thanks, Adam (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.dev)

  6261 Baseplate 32 x 48 Raised Ramp & Pit Plate  [DAT]

This is the Baseplate from 6090 Royal Knight's Castle. I started this a couple days ago, and finally finished tonight.   Re: Programming the RCX

Well, then in that sense everything talks to any device indirectly one could say then. VB coding has to be "compiled" then it is sent to the RCX. (...) True, but a single 9V battery won't last very long (hours at most) driving that kind of load, and will probably get quite warm in the process. They're designed for lighter work.   Re: Programming the RCX

My understanding of the doc (the PDF file that documents the API) is that VB talks to the RCX rather indirectly. Essentially, it's making OLE automation calls to the Mindstorms ActiveX object (SPIRIT.OCX), which in turn does the work of (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
