  Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

Overall very nice, but I think the engines need some work to live up to the rest of the ship. Other people mentioned the landing gear and I have to agree. It'd suck for that to fall over and break : ) -JSM (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: OSS Audrey

I love the shape. I think the engine needs more detail though. I'm not sure if I like the color scheme, It almost needs to be all black (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: OSS Audrey

Um, I do not know where to start... I am stunned. This is a beautiful piece of work. What I like the most is that you maintain a Lego block like shape without allowing it to detract from the smoothness of the design in any way. And the interior (...)   Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

Overall I think it is a very nice MOC. I love the passenger windows and the overhead baggage compartments and all the other little details. After some thought though I do have some reservation with respect to the landing gear and the cockpit. The (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Peeron Question

(...) Yes, that counts patterned parts. A quick check shows there's about 5500 unique parts (thought that's a rough number, I'm sure some patterned parts were counted there). (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Alpha

(...) Well I intended Alpha to be mass produceable. Seems I chose the right parts. Thanks for the feedback, Kyle. (URL) Marco> (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: WR02-ZRX1 Skin Build

Bryce, I'm glad Scott replied. I also honestly don't understand why some people think my stuff all looks the same. I just want to talk about it, not be an ass. e (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Relative or absolute?

Here is my thought: Functional design is both relative and absolute. Let's define the context. In this I mean, when a given mechanical component can be modeled in Lego within a reasonable spectrum of variations. So if you want to replicate, let's (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Question on Train Wheel Diameter, Minifig Scale

(...) In most of my engines I use wheels that do the functional job, leaving the aesthetics to the facias on the bogies. The Peak is a good example: (URL) Each bogie has 4 wheelsets, the middle 2 being the motor, the inner ones a 9V wheelset and the (...) (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Question on Train Wheel Diameter, Minifig Scale

(...) In the UK the track gauge is 1435mm +5mm -2mm, but never less than 1435mm at switches and crossings. The gauge is also slightly wider on curves than on straight track. On double track, the two tracks tilt slightly away from each other. Mark (21 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.trains)
