In case it disappears, there is a picture of a mindstorms unit with the
following text:
Most folks have some sort of childhood memory involving LEGOs (+114%). For some,
its of building a brightly colored skyscraper. For others, its of being rushed
to the ER with a LEGO-mans torso up their nose. Whatever your experience with
the plastic blocks all those years ago, theres no denying LEGOS are surging in
the Search box. The catalyst for this block-tacular boom has to be the
videogame, LEGO Star Wars. Searches on the kid-friendly title, which combines
the setting and story of Star Wars with the look and feel of a LEGO inspired
world, have climbed 303% since its release last month. Of course, not all
LEGO-related searches have to do with a galaxy far, far away. Here are six of
the Buzzs most popular searches. Go forth and build something -- but keep the
little bricks out of your nose.
1. LEGO Star Wars -- Jar-Jar and C-3PO are somehow less annoying in block
form. 2. LEGOLAND -- fan of plastic bricks? This is your Graceland.
3. History of LEGOs -- recently voted the best plastic product of all time.
Take that, Tupperware! 4. New Star Wars LEGOs -- not to be confused with
their virtual cousins. 5. Castle LEGOs -- perfect for the ambitious builder
with a thing for moats. 6. Spider-Man LEGOs -- sometimes the web-head can be
a real block-head.
