Re: AFOL Mindstorms touranment in Billund

Cheers to everyone involved with the AFOL Competition!!! Just wanted to say that our team had a lot of fun interacting with everyone there. We would definitely participate again...And, I suspect Jan and Henrich will make improvements & changes to (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  .loc.au Milestone

When Mel posted this (URL) message> .loc.au passed .loc.it in the total number of posts, making .loc.au the most talkative .loc group. Of course, the Italians stopped talking alot on Lugnet quite a while ago, so it's not as much of an achievement as (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Regina Maersk (First Maersk ship model from 1960)

  Re: Heads up Flubber collectors!

(...) I hope you've got a good graphics card then. I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, and even on my 3.2GHz Pentium (admittedly with a low end graphics card) it fairly clunks along. I ended up uninstalling it. Allister (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Hi John Hansen Thank you for your help. I've used NQC with bricxCC progarm for few monthes. I learned programing with BrickCC. Now I love lego robotic and programing RCX.   Re: Regina Maersk (First Maersk ship model from 1960)

---snip--- (...) Gary that sure is a "u" boat! But you can't have a fleet of merchant ships without a "u" boat to go hunting them. That is like having cowboys with NO indians or bread without butter! ;) -Ahui (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Regina Maersk (First Maersk ship model from 1960)

(...) Are those blue plates on the bottom? That bouy is interesting. With the newer 1x1 round, it would not need to be studs down, but with the original 1x1 round, it had to be studs down because you wouldn't be able to center the old 1x1 round (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Compact dozer design

(...) That does sound like an advantage. However if I'm not mistaken, it also means less torque because technically only one motor is driving the wheels. The other one is just for steering. ?? Nathan (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

Regina Maersk (First Maersk ship model from 1960)

For those of you that collect Maersk Lego models, there is one model that was never sold as a set, but only as a model in the early 1960's Lego Building Idea Book #1, also known as #238. Here is the model on a page from #238. There are other ships (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion

(...) What I find interesting it that on April 12, 1961, was the day the first man went into Space (and April 12, 1981 was the first launch of the Space Shuttle) -Scott Lyttle (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Heads up Flubber collectors!

(...) You mean, you haven't heard the buzz about this game since Jake showed some rough footage at Brickfest last August? My first thoughts when I heard about this on fbtb were "Oh, man...why is TLG doing this? I thought they were trying to save (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

It is possible to use NQC 3.1 r1 whith BricxCC 3.3, I think that this is the last version of BricxCC available. And is possible to take aventage of the last characteristic of NQC 3.1 r1 Regards Eduardo www.complubot.org (21 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: On sale or not on sale

(...) Ah I see - that sounds like one of those "value package" price dealie things then. A packaged value is not really a 'sale' perse I would agree...but it is a 'reduced' price compared to buying all of the sets separately. Bob (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Nope - it means if you have two motors which are not perfectly matched (which they so very rarely are), you can still get a straight line. If you build a motor-per-track buggy, and drive it accross a long corridor, then without course (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)
