  Re: L3P Options?

(...) You got it. 0 L3P IFPOV meta-statements are probably the way to accomplish what you want. Hmm, thinking more about it (I could just go try it), you'll probably still need l3p's -p parameter, or l3p probably won't even look at the primitive (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Best Plastic Product ever...

The marketing people for the Plastics Design and Moulding '05 Conference in Telford, UK have come up with a great way of getting some publicity.   Re: Huge Bridge?

(...) That would be my bridge. Thanks for your comments! No, it's not the record span. The longest span, to the best of my knowledge, is this 8.9 meter bridge: (URL) My bridge (spanning a modest 17' 3 1/8" (5.26 meters)) withstood about 5 hours of (...)   Micro-scale? Nano-scale? Minifig-scale? How 'bout FineScale? Also, Make magazine.

The May 2005 issue of (URL) FineScale Modeler> features a utilitarian use for Lego bricks. There is an article about using polyester resin for casting your own model parts (to replace broken parts or make duplicates of repeated elements). The parts (...)   Re: L3P Options?

(...) Sorry! I guess I didn't make my question clear enough. I'd like to substitute the primitives still, but with those of my own creation, rather than those that L3P creates. For example I think a stud looks better with a slightly rounded top (a (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Re: On sale or not on sale

(...) Hi Bob, Yes, it is right that if you calculate that way that the price is 15% off. The problem is that the K10022 set NEVER was priced 2098.25 DKK. It was always priced 1784 DKK and therefor it is not on sale. The price of 2098.25 is simply (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: On sale or not n sale

  Re: Alternate connectors

(...) I've done some more digging and asking around... Seems what I was looking for is referred to as a hermaphroditic connector.   200esimo set

Capisco che non può fregare niente a nessuno ma è con grande gioia che raggiungo quota 200 come n° di set. Il 200° è proprio il 9747 acquistato a Billund domenica... mitico :-) (URL) a tutti ! Dino (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  vignette contest?

Hey Michiganders (Michigandians? Michians? Michelin men?), In this (URL) Brickshelf gallery>, cjdoyle implies that MichLUG is having a vignette contest. Is this true?   Re: Question from a vig newbie

Hey Dave, Welcome to .build.vignette! Glad you're enjoying it here. Joe is that way by design.   Question from a vig newbie

Holy moley, I haven't laughed so hard at MOC's in years. Every vignette I've seen has been delightfully clever and wonderfully self-contained. One question, though: Part of the point of the "Joe Vig" series of vignettes seems to be that poor Joe (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Joe Vig meets Far Side

For my first Joe Vig vignette, we take a trip to the Far Side.
