Re: 2005 Aussie Catalogue is available

(...) I scanned all the stores at lunch for the catalogue with no success. Last stop was HobbyCo and they made me fork out $1.95. I had a buck 95 in my pocket exactly. fate. I hope the people at Lego get hold of this thread and stick it to the (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Geofrebot - Skin build exercise for the ZRX1 Frame

snip (...) snip Okay, all you guys are friggin' mech geniuses. I almost feel unworthy to hang out here anymore! But I'll build something cool again someday, you'll see! Eric, I really like Geofrebot. We usually make mechs look cool by adding (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Lego Technic can be used for ANYTHING!

I made these speaker stands last year because my Center Channel speaker was too large for the top of my new Sony Television. They are as strong as the day that I made them and wedge perfectly into the top slots on the T.V. There are also stops on (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Ironic.....

...... That the only group of people LEGO is said to really care about has it's own newsgroup, and it has NEVER EVER been used, LOL! I wonder what the reason for this could be? Legoswami (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.people.kids)

  Re: New MOC: RedTail air-racer

(...) Thanks you! (...) Unfortunatly I am now offically out of white tiles -- I guess the x-wing goes to the chopping block. Brent (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: RedTail air-racer

(...) Thank you very much, you made my week. The progression of my style is mostly due to the feed back I have gotten here and via email. Without the experienced observations of others I would still be wrestling with the shape confines of Lego (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Contrary to popular belief...

(...) Hey, thanks! (...) This one's the one I think might be the easiest given the configuration behind there...thanks, I'll give it a try... Calum (This message brought to you by sucky Mozilla rendering) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Afterburner

I like the use of the arch pieces on the bottom, the choice of colors, and the overall shape is kick-arse. What I do not like is the printing on the 12x3 wedges, it detracts form the overall smoothness of the ship -- I think a little brasso there (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: No Lego Window System

(...) Yes those 1x6x5 windows have a glass insert. They are similar to the glass inserts in the 1x4x3 windows that can be opened and closed vertically. I don't know why they have those groves around the perimeter. But it makes them "not compatible" (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Miniland scale Tiller fire truck

(...) Jacub, This is a great looking model! This takes me back to the days growing up in Southern California; when I would always run to the window to see one of these speeding down the road with its trailing convoy of pumpers.   Re: Geofrebot - Skin build exercise for the ZRX1 Frame

(...) That is an excellent idea Marco! I am building another frame tonight and I may fit this shoulder assembly. I have to say that was well thought out. Keep up the good work. Marcus Clancy (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Miniland scale Tiller fire truck

(...) My apologies for replying to my own post. But somehow I messed up the link to Jacub's folder above. Here it is again. I just don't want it getting lost in the shuffle. It's definitely worth taking time to look at: (URL) B (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

Thanks Rick! (...) Oh I let you choose... I am not that familiar with the band in fact. I remember that cover because one of my sisters had it when it was released. Rough boy! ;-D Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Miniland scale Tiller fire truck

(...) I wouldn't give it a second thought. Your solutions were incredibly imaginative. I saw this today and flipped through the whole Brickshelf folder.   Re: 2005 Aussie Catalogue is available

(...) Mine arrived last night. It's now simply titled 'Lego Club' - its worldliness seemingly abandoned in favour of simply Australia & New Zealand. The quality is certainly consistent with the recent 'world club' versions. The reader creations seem (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
