Re: AFOL/Mindstorms stagnation (Was Re: FLL not allowing NQC)

(...) That's right - I find that for Mindstorms the stuff I have matches the time I have, but brickscaping for trains takes vast quantities of bricks - at least they're basic bricks! To improve the power to weight ratio you could make a power (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: power levels clarification

  Re: Octagonal building technique: help!

I used the parts linked above to make some octagonal towers in a large castle MOC I built recently. At the bottom, I attached two opposite sides (parallel) to the supporting pieces below the tower, and then let the other 6 sides "float", just (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Hailfire attachment points

(...) When I looked at the first image, one item caught my eye immediately was the 8-tooth gear. When I built my expirement, I had intended the hailfire wheel to be run in an upright position. The first thing I tried was the 8-tooth gear. I found (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  bad LEGO dream last night

I dreamt that the pin broke off one of my train motors :( In my dream I tried to be brave. I tried to shrugg it off. SNIPPY Man, I saw these today on BS and I loved them. I like the tuned version more, naturally ;-) I like the backstory too, its cute. One gripe: I think you need to swap the roofs of the 2 cars.
