Man, I saw these today on BS and I loved them. I like the tuned version more,
naturally ;-) I like the backstory too, its cute. One gripe: I think you need to
swap the roofs of the 2 cars. IMO, the 4x4 tile would look better on the older
one, and the wedge better on the new one. Its the first thing that struck me
when I looked at the pictures, but I put it down to lack of parts, until I hit
up and saw the other one. I have more than merely an asthetical reason for
saying this: The moulding technology that exists now, wouldnt have existed in
Johnnys time, and hence Id expect the older car to be more boxy. Its a
reallllly tiny nit, but I just thought Id say it. Still, its a nice job, much
like a town version of the MUNE buggy. Thanks for sharing!

| I built a couple of cars this weekend. I originally sat down to build an Adventurer's themed car to go with a night club MOC that I'm working on. The result turned out looking more like one of those thin racing cars from the 30's. Not happy with the (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX)
