  My Wife At Work

Here's a quick one that I built this afternoon for my wife, who works in a Customer Service department (not a job I'd recommend, by the way): (2 URLs) Brickshelf Gallery> -Elroy (21 years ago, 7-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: FLL not allowing NQC

(...) First of all, all of the comments in this thread are visible for anyone to peruse here: (URL) while it's certainly polite (and arguably very correct) for you to ask permission to quote people, you could have always simply refered people you (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: FLL not allowing NQC

(...) Not at all as far as any of my comments go. I can't speak for the other posters on this subject of course. But I do think it is high time that FLL reviewed this particular rule. I have been asked a number of times if AFOLs would be interested (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Comments wanted: Plans for easier parts authoring

(...) Hi Stefan, While I think my opinion on this is well known, I'll answer your call for responses here.. I agree that AFOL don't "need" high-end tools for parts-authoring.. Any way to incorporate a graphical interface into the process would be a (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  FLL not allowing NQC

Do you guys mind if I send them an email with some of your post snippets? I'm probably going to be assistant-coaching an FLL team next year, and I've never used anything *but* NQC, and I don't know how to get RoboLab. (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

(21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Philippe's Forklift Building Instructions

(...) Hi Didier, I wanted to compliment you on your building instructions. Very nice. Did you want the fork on the forklift to be at the top, instead of the bottom? If so, you can probably open the forklift part you used with MLCad. It is in (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.inst)

  Re: RIS 2.0 Problems

NQC bears a stronger resemblance to contemporary programming languages than Lego's development tools do, and a person who is already familiar with programming in any real computer programming language will probably be more productive with NQC than (...)   Re: MINIMUM-SPACE-POD

Thank you Ley. I've read the talk you pointed out, and feel so very sad our Admiral showed intention of his honorable retirement. :-p (Thank you Chris !) At first, I want the pod's landing-gear hide inside, but of-course it was impossible. So I (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: Knight Powersuit

(...) Nice to see you back building and posting again, Chris. The Gamut's a classic, and the Knight improves on the basic design with added mobility. I think someone else mentioned this too, but I get a Patlabor feel from this one. (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
