  RE: RCX accessories

(...) The IR remote control is great for debugging and testing your contraption before you get around to write the software for the RCX. I'm working on car with steering for example, and the remote control is great for just playing with it to see if (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Millennium Slizer (Throw Bot)

It is my understanding that Slizer (Throw Bot) sets have been very successful in the US market. Much to my dismay, my son loves these sets... so I was trying to find some for his birthday. They are not on very many store shelves. I was talking to (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Is Sacramento in the Bay Area? ;-)

(...) An I am still working on getting something together. I really would just like some help building. I am about half way done with my first train module. I will have it finished by the BayLUG meeting and will be bringing it up to show people (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sac)

  8448 and the Toy Site

Does anyone know when 8448 (Auto Chassis V) will be in stores? Also, I visited the Toy Site in Waltham MA this week. That's a really cool store. They have the largest selection in stock of any store I've seen. Maybe I'll mail-order the big stuff (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Is Sacramento in the Bay Area? ;-)

(...) <snip> (...) Actually, other than NELUG, I haven't heard of any other organized U.S. Lego non-train-specific clubs on the web (MIT and school projects don't count in this example). So everyone west of the Mississippi is invited as far as I'm (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sac, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Millisecond timing

(...) See the Polaroid sonar code (from the HB web site) for an example of how to measure timing signals on the TIC3 channel. You initialize with: bit_set( 0x1009, 0x30 ); /* ddrd */ bit_set( 0x1021, 1 ); /* at tctl2, */ bit_clear( 0x1021, 2 ); /* (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: why is no-one saying anything about my parts?

Jonathan, maybe we do need to try and respect your current attempts, but please try and follow some simple standards. I think that these are the biggest things that got people mad at you for 1. Don't post gobs of messages of .dats. If you just focus (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
