Re: LEG007 – James Bond Models

(...) small snip. Evan, Went over to the link above and was expecting some pics and a small set of instructions....but got a lot more!   Re: LEG007 – James Bond Models

(...) Not next, but I did just get a Lego Supercar (Set 8880) just to convert to an Aston Martin DB5. Obviously, that will be a much larger project and may take some time. (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

(...) Brian, I thought this creation was a hoot. For several reasons it reminded me why I do this in the first place. You built a mech just because you wanted to and grow with it. Good for you! The legs are thin, could be filled in with brick or (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

  need help with instructions

Hello all- As many of you may know, I have been working on a virtual crane since last year, managing to put pics up of th erendering just recently. Anyway, my question is this; does anyone know how I can set the instructions to look a lot like the (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: l3p as open source (was: Re: Anatomy of a POV file (e.g. L3P suggestions))

(...) Hi Kevin Thanks for your tip, but even though it seems to solve the amb/dif/reflection-problem, it unfortunately doesn't cover the need for special pov-ray objects like special lights, fog etc, as it's also based on L3p. Another thing I just (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

Re: New Train Moc - Simple Red Caboose

(...) Super duper. I think that is a great caboose. You did a great job all around, and I like the way you installed the front and rear facing airplane windows backwards. Simple, subtle, and effective, cudos. Chris (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

And you weren't interested in any of my posts that were not 'kissups to TLC' or me stating that I wasn't in the 'anti-colourchange' camp. So we're both doing it--where, in the end, (...)   Sorting Bley and Chocolate Brown

Given that the bleys and chocolate brown are here to stay, what is the best way to sort them into a large collection, whilst still maintaining the ability to distinguish light bley from light grey?   Re: l3p as open source (was: Re: Anatomy of a POV file (e.g. L3P suggestions))

(...) An alternative to open source is to post process l3p output to change things the way you want. This is what I do in LPub. L3P output is simple text and extremely consistant, making it easy to modfiy the contents. Kevin (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

l3p as open source (was: Re: Anatomy of a POV file (e.g. L3P suggestions))

I don't know if this is besides the topic, but what I would really like was the ability to edit the "text" with the default settings l3p uses to create the pov-file (after all, it's a program that converts a textfile into another textfile). When (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

Thank you, Calum, for putting so eloqently how mony of us feel about this ridiculous letter. Last time I checked, Lego is still a toy, not a commodity to be traded on the stock market. It's a toy, either build with it or don't, but quit whining (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
