Re: who does chris think he is?

(...) I agree with your reasoning, words aren't bad. It's all contextual. You can bet we're talking with people whose posts are inappropriate, trigger words or not. It's just that the ones with the f-bomb and such are only the most obvious. The (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Whilst endeavouring to clean up my LEGO stuff...

I stumbled across an extra RCX remote controller. I know Iown 2, but I'm pretty sure I don't own 3, but I appear to have 3 in my basement right now. So if anyone is missing a remote, let me know--I'll bring it to Feb. dinner. It's probably Jeff VW's (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Paul's Ferrari

Thanks for making a thread for the car Nathan. That was very cool of you! The car has many nice features and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I still will probably make some changes here and there, nothing major. Here are the weak points in (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: stepping up to the dead horse (was some other title)

Hm... I used to be extremely fanatic about LEGO, but I've long ago gotten to the point that taking Lego seriously at all would mean getting depressed over it. I just don't care enough about the toy these days to give a...eh, this is a public forum. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: BigBen Bricks! (Was: Parts editing made easy...?)

(...) Tore, those are parts made on Stratasys and zCorp Rapid Prototyping machines. Rapid Prototyping is a way of using machines to take digital data and create models in an additive fashion, built up layer by layer. zCorp machines build the layers (...)   Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for discussion!

(...) snip (...) I snipped the letter, but I think this is 95% better than the original letter to the CEO.   Re: Open letter to the CEO - has this ever worked?

(...) I am NOT in support of this letter. I am NOT in support of this letter representing the AFOL Community. I am NOT in support of this issue continuing to be brought up with the derisiveness and disdainful language aimed at the LEGO Company and (...)   Re: who does chris think he is?

(...) That reminds me of a few moths ago when I used 'jackass' in a post. It's a word that has been used on 'regular TV' (not cable or after 9 p.m.) but I was offered a polite warning via e-mail. So, on the one hand I'm all for common sense (my (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I thnk we really have to stop misinterpreting people around here. Maybe there's an ESL thing going on, but I know I'm not in the 'anti-bringbackoldcolours' camp.
