Have to say the caboose looks really good, I'd almost go so far as to say its the definative model. However I realise that cabooses vary! (...) This already exists - there's a yellow tub that is sold empty at LEGO stores and I believe at LLCA too. IIRC they were lampooned on LUGNET ("$X.XX for an empty tub? What are they, nuts?"). Are parts authors really using text editors to compose new parts? I find it hard to understand that a text editor is still the tool of choice for this relatively complicated modeling task. I might be wrong and could need an update on what tools (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

You know, I can understand not using tubs for the smaller sets, but it sure would have been nice to see the 4421 in a tub. Then again, continuity of the series might be lost if one were in a tub while others were in boxes... I know! Put them ALL in (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

Having had a good look inside my RCX, I'm thinking seriously about what is really possible in the same space envelope, whether extra ports or functions could be added for RCX3.
