(...) No ideas--I d/l'ed it from the link (right click and all that) and it resides on my hd and works beautifully. If you wish, I can throw it up at my website and see if you have any betterluck Dave K (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Blockstacking date - finalizied - Feb 26

(...) Now THAT was funny! Probably...I used to spend a lot of time making cool posters for each event, but gave up because it took too long to make a model, shoot photos, lay them out, etc. When I was in university (or pre layoff Nortel) there was (...)   Re: Video Clips

Hm, I've saved the file twice, and both time Windows Media Player 9 said it was corrupt. Since I am running Win2K, I can't upgrade to WMP10. I can play it by clicking the link, but I'd like to save it locally. Ideas? (...) -- Tom Stangl *(URL) (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Transformer Power

(...) Are you using the standard transformer with the controller? If so, the rating is 7VA, which will probably give about half an amp at 9V after losses. With a more powerful transformer you could get a bit more out of the controller as others have (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Blockstacking date - finalizied - Feb 26

Hey Calum - Now that the venue and date are set... are you getting off your lazy behind to make up an event poster? I know you claim to been busy, but the poster found in a photo from rtl15 (electronically enhanced for readability) (URL) was just (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: GR-Destroyer

In lugnet.build.mecha, Brian Cooper wowed LUGNETters: (...) Does Bo know Monstrobo? (Squish) Monstrobo's toe knows Bo. Let's set it to music: Who's bigger than a breadbox?   Re: LEGO new crane: a step in the right direction?

This may have been posted earlier, I don't know, but it looks like these newer models are remakes of the older, more popular ones from the 90s. Does anyone agree with me? (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LEGO new crane: a step in the right direction?

Hey y'all- I have to agree whith what Dave said about this crane. It is beautiful! (Personally I would have opted for four more axles, but I guess to each his/her own). I also am going to get one as soon as this model comes out (would any of y'all (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Santa Fe El Capitan Hi-Level

(...) James, Happy New Year! Absolutely wonderful models!! Now if I can scrap up some gray train bases... I'll get to building them. Meanwhile, parts collection is underway.   Re: LEGO new crane: a step in the right direction?

(...) It looks absolutely fantastic. If people want to send a message to the execs at TLC about what they want as far as Technic goes, I humbly suggest that they buy this set. And it doesn't have alotta 'bley' in it, so that'll keep the 'colour' (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Boxes and storage

If I know what stores have good things I can always search for the most easily accessible one online. At least most of the websites are good at that :-). I think there is a B&Q within walking distance of me (might be mistaken). I might try that (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  The project

Avery forwarded to me an e-mail he got from a Larry over in the General section where he first posted Michael's post. Aparently, it's better that the Alpha Centauri Project posts here under gaming. I got a question for the group, what are we going (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Everything I Own

(...) OK - done! Hahaha - I don't know if this link works without being signed in, but I actually did inventory my Lego collection last year: (URL) used Bob Kojima's partscatalog program and it took me two months of about an hour or two a day to do. (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.people)
