  Re: Boxes and storage

(...) Hi Tim, I can't think of any UK AFOLs who live in Manchester. I reckon your best bet will be to buy online from one of the DIY stores. A while back there was a good deal at Maplin on three tier plastic drawers on wheels. Be careful as storage (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: help/tip for building strange forms

Good luck with the model!! For something like that, you may be able to use plates, wings and hinges to make a semi-smooth but very thin shape. Think Hagrid's hut!! [LEGOSet 4754] I haven't really tried it myself but I think with a bit of imagination (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: SOB Tapestry Shop for CCC2

Hey, Excedllent work. The detail is lovely. It is a little "potterish" for my taste but just jumps the hurdle into true castle : ) Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  RE: Light-Gray "Pneumatic Pump Small"

I know the seller in question, and I can almost guarentee that those came from a Red Letter Day at LegoLand Windsor, and hence, if there are no more listed there will be no more for sale William -----Original Message----- From: (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Correction: New crane for 2005?

Correction- it is in minifig scale which could indicate it is for town legos or another related theme. (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  New crane for 2005?

This guy on brickshelf gathered together these pics of new kits for this year. This model team crane has a hollow boom that would make building a telescopic crane easier. I wonder if a bimba piston would fit in there? Happy new year all! (URL) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Light-Gray "Pneumatic Pump Small"

(...) Hi David, The link in your question refers to the Bricklink shop from which I got these parts. I would like to have more of this color, which is the reason for bringing up this issue. Avi Parvin (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Light-Gray "Pneumatic Pump Small"

(...) Both Peeron and Bricklink recognize only yellow and blue pumps. Here is a picture of the parts: (URL) My first guess was that these parts came from one of the Dacta sets, which are not documented well enough in any of the Lego databases out (...)   Boxes and storage

Dear all, Can anyone tell me where in Manchester to buy plastic boxes, storage drawers etc., or which chain stores are good for that sort of thing. I simply cannot find anything and, as I don't drive, can't easily try place after place. Any help (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Tallest lego crane

(...) Ross, I have yet to try the SDBW configuration, however if I add all the counterweihgts to the Superlift, the crane will hold the boom off the ground at 0 degrees. The only reason i use the wheels is to ease the stress on the motors, and to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Toy store won't sell me any Lego!

As a general rule, retail district managers aren't the brightest people. I would suggest going above this DM's head to an operations chief, appear in dispair, and you may even get a $100 gift card for the mess. Or, if you're so inclined, go to a (...)   Re: Would someone from TLG please explain the mad specials on S@H Australia site?

Question: Are the specials we are getting the same as those that europeans are getting? If not, that is definatly a reason to complain. (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au)
