  RE: brickOS port to FreeBSD

John, I'm interested in how you got the USB tower working... I've got a Tcl package that talks to the LEGO USB tower driver under Windows, but nothing for FreeBSD yet. I'm willing to share the Tcl script with you if I ever get the tower working (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Whaty ever happened to Craigo?

Bump. I've been wondering this too, so I'll add my name to the list of curious. I just went out and bought some enamel paints and Brasso, but it's always nice to see others work for inspiration! plucky (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: using MacNQC with Spybotics via USB Tower

(...) It is a capability of NQC but I was mistaken about the Mac version of NQC. It currently does not support the Spybotics target when the USB tower is used. One of the first changes I made when I took over NQC was to add the ability for NQC to (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: RCX IR Transceiver Circuit

(...) Indeed, you probably had something wrong there: I checked the battery of a serial tower I didn't use for a very long time, it was still fully charged. Philo (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

Re: Play Table $100 at SamsClub (YMMV)

(...) I bought one of these for my wife's Dr's Office. She has a play area for the kids. The come unassembled and you have to put them together. I just wanted to say that I was very impressed by the workmanship and sturdiness of the table/chairs. (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Explorovore

(...) I'll say! This totally rocks, Nik and I were laughing our heads off... Little Shop of Horrors meets Spaceman Spiff! Is it just me or: - Am I the only one that thinks this whole sequence would make a great stop motion or LDraw animation? - did (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Project Building and Sorting Table

(...) I've used the small square-ish foam takeout hinged lid containers used to hold sandwiches and such as an alternative to those tippy bowls. Just lay out the container flat to get two conjoined ~5" square sorting bins, or seperate them at the (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Re: Post Christmas Shopping

(...) However, the mars rover is missing one of its tyres (all 6 wheels are there but only 5 tyres), hopefully LEGO can send me one :) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Project Building and Sorting Table

(...) The only time I do is when I drop something and it hits the edge of a bowl... then it tends to catapult things all over the room. Not Pretty. Don't worry, Larry, it's not like I'm eyeing those sorting trays you lent me or anything... =) Peter (21 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)
