Re: Best (disposable) battery for the RCX?

I use Ray-o-Vac Renewals (rechargeable alkalines), and am quite pleased with them. For best performance they should be recharged very often - even if only partially drained. I just get in the habit of swapping out a set of batteries before starting (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Ldraw.org-- Sets Tracker

Tim, I know this has been suggested before, but do you have the capability to set up something under the OMR that would be like the parts tracker, but for sets.   Best (disposable) battery for the RCX?

I've been using Duracell alkalines and they don't seem to last very long at all. Has anyone found a brand that works better? (I've avoided the Duracell "Extra" (or whatever their premium supermarket battery is) because the package seems to imply (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Voice Recognition Hardware

Try to track down a company called "CoVox". These guys used to have a speech recognition device that ran on the Apple II (6502) that was pretty cool (speaker dependent of course).   Re: models

(...) Either render with anti-aliasing, or render at a larger scale, and then resample with anti-aliasing turned on. Increase the compression for you JPGs. They could easily be 50Kb or less instead of 200+Kb. I look forward to more models! --Bram (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)
