RCX IR Transceiver and Sensor Port Circuits

I've not seen much online in the way of circuits of the RCX transceiver or parts of the RCX itself. Everyone seems too busy reprogramming it! I have dismantled the units and traced the connections, found out the pin-outs and equivalent components (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Blacktron Mining Operation Discovered

(...) Thanks John. I didn't get any good overview shots, so I'm afraid what you see is what you get - just enough to get some ideas... Overall it was 4 by 8.5 baseplates. -Matt :) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Robo Platoon MOC's

(...) don't you just love the simplicity of the smaller mecha? your little guys look great! nice proportions. that blue one has an anime look to it with those jet-thingies (love my technical jargon?). the use of the t-valve has become a staple in (...)   Student project - "The New World"

Have you ever wondered where Lego sets come from? A few of my students did this little movie some time ago for a computer animation project. (URL) in DivX format and requires a recent DivX codec, and the download is rather large, around 45 MB. But I (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.animation)

You're one to talk, resting on your laurels and basking in the ambiguously homoerotic adoration of your myriad drooling fanboys. Build something crappy? no, I (...)   Re: New MOC: Sparrowhawk Pirate Strike Craft

(...) Thanks! I had an amusing time getting the offset hull section to the point where it didn't look too lopsided, glad you like it. The engines were exceptionally simple: I had four of them lying around, and the inestimable Kevin Heckel suggested (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New Moc - Stained Glass Window Mosaic

Hi Janey, I was so impressed by your work (ALL YOUR MOCs blew me away!) at BrickFest 2004 in DC that I had to copy the idea of the stained glass windows! Since I'm more a brick technician than artist (like you!) mine is a bit more graphic than (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Ribbed hoses synth

There are quite a few problems when I try to cad ribbed hoses, first of all, the elements existing are not appropriate. I addapted them to make sure they are as big as the real ones, but I can't use Lsynth, since it places not the amount of parts I (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Pinguim: Some very interesting techniques

(...) Thanks! I grew up near Northern Maine Junction--thus the interest in the Maine Central and the Bangor and Aroostook. You are right that I was mostly concerned with the shape of the engines (my son laments that he can't put minifigs in them). I (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: SSClagorpion - Status Report

Well I have a leg design at current using 2 large cylinders that gets ~21 cycles/minute with 1 leg and a 6 way radial pump (I don't have enough pumps to fill out the full 12 way...) but it's sturdy and strong and fully self cycling...the problem is (...)   Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Wonderful! Without being unappreciative of the rounded towers I really liked the castle shield at the bottom of the tudor level; it was nice to see them look so small. The whole thing was, of course, amazing! Great work, God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: how to make coal for a tender?
