  COSTCO SHOPPING REPORT

Okay I just got back from Costco. Did I score on some world city sets. I got 7047, World City - Police & Rescue Coast Watch HQ, 2004 for $20 EACH. Yes 50% off at Costco. I bought two, but other people around me were going why is this set here and I (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Next M>ltc set up :-14/11/04

(...) Hmmmmmm I already did but for some reason it only shows up when you're logged in, even though the 28th shows up if you're not! Seems like a yahoo bug, I'll report it, but rest assured it's in there! ROSCO (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

  Re: Spring Cleaning Goodies

(...) Mike, Glad to hear that you finally found some!! Did you notice that the ones you pulled from the same box/store had similar contents? Hopefully you got some variety at the other store. Eric (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

(...) Basic geometry - the arrangements are only approximately matching. 1. The triangle has perpendicular sides 5 plates (2 studs) and 14 plates, giving a hypotenuse length of 14.87 plates, or slightly less than 6 studs, so as you've found, the 1x8 (...)   4679 Variations (was Re: What a trip I had to Markville!)

(...) An update to the previously stated. I now have 3 4679's with different serial numbers. The third is 2814, and it is closely related to 2714 in contents. It also has old grey's in the tub. Here's my pix of a 2714, and a 2814 stamped combo after (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...)

(...) I just got some here in Indiana, and I *thought* they were all identical, but I'm not certain now. In any event, I got (in each box) some of those "1x1 slope plates" or whatever you want to call them, first seen on the new BNSF loco. But these (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Botdog pwnzj00

I'm making a new thread for this in addition to the (URL) thank you> topic because as the star of the con, Botdog really deserves his own thread.   Re: Not a good fit?

(...) Hi Jaco, I run into this often when I'm using rotation to get things into place. With MLCad you have a grid (course, medium, fine). All things that are placed are snapped to the grid. For nice rectangular designs, this grid works well. When (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

When I inquired about the set, a floor clerk did not know what I was talking about. But he did say that tons of toys are coming into Walgreens for the holidays. So he took my card and a picture of the 4679 box that I printed. The clerk then passed (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: S@H Specials formatting (was Re: US S@H Specials for Nov 3 - 9 Re: Was mislabelled...)

Hm, well, the point is moot - I post via Communicator, and when it sends plaintext, the Lugnet server prints it as plaintext, so the formatting isn't showing online. So any time I post, you won't see the pics. Because I am NOT about to go to the (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...)

Peeron's inventory for this set is SO screwy, I can't trust it. It is listing 8x8 bricks, and teal 2x4s, that none of the 9 I've gotten have. It would be nice if the inventory ONLY listed the [standard] bricks from the set, as many people parting (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: S@H Specials formatting (was Re: US S@H Specials for Nov 3 - 9 Re: Was mislabelled...)

This would work too, but I'm wondering if the Set link info should go after the plaintext, i.e.: Set Number, Name, Regular Price, [Sale Price], Link ===...=== Clickits -------- 7503 Memo Minis 3.99 [2.00] (URL) [LEGOSet 7503] Note - I use (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I can try to do this in the future. Should be simple enough to add another macro to my keyboard util.
