  Re: lattice windows

(...) Oops. Yeah, I reallized that after I hit send. Daan's original message was cross-posted to .space because he was using a Space element as his lattice. I broke my own rule and just hit "reply" without checking the newsgroup. Bruce (22 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Scale

Does anyone know the scale of LEGO figures, both Minifig and Technic, compared to that of real life? Where they originally designed to scale or was it a case of hmmm that size will do? Many thanks. Gaz. (22 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Legoland Sierksdorf

As some might know, there was an early Legoland Germany in the town of Sierksdorf in northern Germany from 1973 to 1976. There is not much information about it here on Lugnet, but I actually visited the park in the summer of 1973. I was only 1.5 (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.legoland) !

(...) I always thought solid colors were confusing, especially where the pattern on the part happend to be of the same color. However, I just added support for a new user preference, allowing you to choose what color to use: (URL) that helps! Dan (22 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LEGO Millyard model to cover 2,000 square feet, Sponsored by NELUG

(...) I think I liked the part that I didn't have to pick through masses of bricks to get what I needed. Having lots of brick is cool. Having lots of SORTE bricks is even better :) Dan (22 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: My New Silver Cannons.

The big bore, the solid clunky wheels, the "ribbed" look caused by the multiple parts, and heavy support all combine to make these look more like medieval cannon than Pirates appropriate, but I do like them, nevertheless. -->Bruce<-- (22 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.pirates)
