So it would appear. That would explain why I have 2 extra of those doors. But they are not shown in the 720 instruction book anywhere (at least not the one I have) Was there more than one instruction book in the Basic 720 set? As near as I can tell, (...) (...) The handyboard is lighter, cheaper, and has I/O ports designed for robotics. With a laptop you would have to interface some sort of I/O card for your sensors, mostly likely through the parallel port since it is the easiest device to interface (...) hey ive got a idea. well let me start off my idea is to use a "4 x 16" for a 4 x 8 maersk "sticker", just in the dat file shrink the file by half < 1 16 -10<x> 40<y> 0<z> 0 0 .50 0 0 .50 0 0 .50 maersk.dat > , and that should give better detail (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad)

I have be thinking of the next step up to take after the lego rcx. It seems like the more I use it the more I want more sensor inputs and more motor controls ect. I was looking at the MIT handy board it looks like a good way to go but what about (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Did you install a .1uF capacitor at C7 on the sonar boards? The 6500 doesn't work without that capacitor. Ross M.
